Looks like this was well planned. Now contracts for his story are (perhaps) the next move with the money he can get a top Lawyer and explain that he was doing this to get money for the story. After all his defense council will say he only had a short time to go before his release date. He’s out free loads of cash and possibly a Film contract to go with the story.
