UK Local Mobile Search Rankings

Mobile local search company, m-Spatial, have released rankings of the top 10 locally searched brands and the top 10 mobile local search query categories for the January to April 2007. The numbers show an overall increased awareness among consumers of mobile local search facilities.

Entertainment, food and drink, not surprisingly, are the leading reasons people search on their mobile phones. The numbers are from data accumulated from m-spatial’s own search index, based on the final chosen result of each individual mobile search by brand. Percentage figures are based on breakdown of searches to top ten brands / categories.

    I wonder what the category ‘drinking’ contains, is this just pubs/bars or does it include restuarants?, i see fast food there but no other food establishments. It would be good if they quantify these results.
