Leading U.S. market research company, IDC have released their list of 10 emerging wireless entertainment and content provision companies that they believe will make big waves in 2007. The full list is as follows:
- Loopt
- Medio Systems
- Millennial Media
- Mobio Networks
- Nellymoser
- ooober
- PeerMe
- ShoZu
- The Hyperfactory
- Trilibis Mobile
Interestingly, Loopt and Mobio are the only company from this list that also featured on the CNN Money list of 25 Web 2.0 companies to watch. Other mobile companies featured on CNN’s list included (tiny), SoonR, AdMob and SimulScribe. Admittedly, Loopt and Mobio are the only mobile entertainment oriented companies on the CNN list, but most of the companies on IDC’s list don’t have much (if anything) to do with entertainment either!
